What is NLP?
NLP stands for Neuro Linguistic Programming.
Neuro = The mind
Linguistic = Language and other non-verbal communication
Programming = The ability to discover, understand and use the programs that we run (our communication to ourselves and others)
NLP is about how to use the language of the mind to achieve our desired outcomes.
Throughout out lives, we all experience fears, anxieties and the ups and downs of a wide spectrum of feelings and daily experiences.
Each bad experience we have, every setback, negative emotion or mistake we make is stored in our mind and they begin to make what is known as neural pathways. These neural pathways become our reality and become our automatic reactions when we are faced with certain 'trigger' scenarios. These negative associations then can become part of our everyday thoughts and can begin to control our emotions, behaviours, states of mind and thinking patterns.
These negative thought patterns are responsible for your fears and anxieties and are the reasons that you become stressed.
They are the reason that you fear the worst and don't head for your dreams.
They are the reason you are surviving and not living.
They are the reason that you are not being the best version of you that you can be.
Believe me, you can break this cycle of negativity and you can break these patterns of thoughts and behaviour.
You can be in charge of your thoughts and emotions and be free to reach your true potential and be the person that you deserve to be and were supposed to be.
